Bushwacker Products

It all happened in 1967. A friend asked Jerry to use his expertise as a plastics engineer to design something that would keep the mud off his Ford Bronco. Jerry went to work in his garage, came up with a fender flare design and had a plastics fabricator produce his creation. He installed the fender flares in his friend's vehicle - and when off-road enthusiasts saw the results, the fender flare industry was born!

Incorporated in 1968 as LTD Enterprises, Inc., the company Jerry started initially focused on fender flares and accessories for off-road vehicles only. In the mid 1970's, the name was changed to Bushwacker and the fender flare product line began to expand. During the 1980's, the growing popularity of SUV's increased demand for aftermarket Bushwacker fender flares among mainstream consumers.

As CEO and founder of Bushwacker, Jerry Logan runs the multi-million dollar operation with a hands-on approach. He still takes time to be involved in setting the parameters for new fender flare product design. "I'm committed to creating quality fender flare products that both protect and add style to vehicles," he says.

Over the past 30 years, Bushwacker has remained the industry leader in fender flares. The company holds a number of mechanical and design patents and has also developed new, resilient materials including their Dura•Flex® thermoplastic for better flare design

1111 Today, fender flares for off-road vehicles account for only a portion of Bushwacker's sales. The company now offers a range of different styles that appeal to a wide variety of vehicle owners, including their original Extend-A-Fender Flares, tailored Street-Flares®, and new OEM Series Flares. Bushwacker offers more than 400 different applications for worldwide distribution.

For more than 30 years, Bushwacker has built a reputation for excellence with fender flare and aftermarket accessories that set the standard of quality, on and off the road.
