Manik Products
Manik is one of the U.S.A.'s largest manufacturing of Tubular Steel Off-Road Accessories, specializing in packages of
Front Bars, Side Steps and Tail Light Guards in both Black or Chrome-Style highly Polished Stainless Steel.
A U.S. based Corporation; Manik Motors is located in Montebello, California in a 100,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing site.
All products are manufactured in-house to ensure consistent quality and delivery. Powder Coating the Front Bars, Tube
Steps, and dipping the Front Light Guards, Tail Light Guards, and Brackets ensures the most durable attractive
finishes. Products are wrapped in 1/2" polyurethane foam and boxed individually for maximum protection during
shipping. Manik Front Light Guards are pre-installed for your convenience and as a final quality inspection.
Manik actively supports SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association) and PRO (Professional Restylers Organization). You can find Manik exhibiting every year at various SEMA Shows History of Manik
Englishman Nick Thorne and Marcus Meakin met while working for a British importer of auto accessories and left to
start Manik as a partnership in 1986. The market for their off-road products started to increase in 1990, in line
with the growth in the SUV market, and soon Manik was exclusively making front bars, side steps and taillight guards.
With a head start over the traditional off-road manufacturers who had their hands full with the traditional off-road
market, Manik was able to perfect it's product line to the point where it's SUV applications were broader than any
other manufacturer, and it's product quality was second to none.
Realizing that in the higher income brackets of the SUV marketplace, quality and availability were more important
than price, Manik moved to a 125,000 square foot facility in Montebello, California, that has a new Powder-Coating
System with a five stage washer and a vinyl powder fluidized bed coating system that is unique and fully integrated
in to the Powder-Coating System. This allows Manik to give up to a 10-year warranty against rust when necessary.
The accuracy and repeatability of the Manik process has been further enhanced with the addition of a C&C Laser Cuter and
an additional C&C Tube Bender to add to it's existing stable of four.
Manik's original designs, now followed by so many others, are supported by Solid Modeling software that speeds the
prototype process, enabling them to be first to market when a new vehicle is launched. A large engineering
department-so often lacking in other similar companies-is another reason why Manik's manufacturing system is the
most agile in the industry. The latest product line is a huge application list in highly polished stainless steel.
Designed to compete against chrome product, Manik's polished finish is hard to tell from similar chrome packages.
Once again Manik leads the industry with a line of one-piece, polished stainless front bars, which are currently
unique. The seamless styling and contour hugging lines of these bars do nothing but complement today's SUV's,
whose durability and toughness is matched by Manik's lifetime warranties against rust.
Production capacity has been substantially increased at Manik's new facility, allowing the company to keep pace
with the increasing demand for its products.
