No fine print warranty
If you are the original purchaser of any BDS product and it brakes - we will give you another part. Period Our warranty says it all when it comes to a question of quality and reliability. If any BDS product breaks we'll replace it period. With a warranty like this, you can be sure that we spent a great deal of painstaking hours developing and testing the Glide-Ride leaf springs. We believe in and stand behind the quality of every product we make.

Manufacturing
All of our bracketry is manufactured in the US using materials produced to SAE standards. This ensures a quality product from the start. CNC equipment, such as laser cutters, plasma cutters and 5-axis brake presses are used to ensure that hole locations are exactly where they should be and that your installation goes as easily as possible.

The brackets are coated with a textured powder coat to help protect them against rust and the harsh environment. All components go through a five stage cleaning process to ensure that no impurities are captured in the finish. This creates a finish that will last a long time.

All fasteners used are equal to or stronger than their OE counterparts. Most fasteners are a grade 5 or 8 depending on the application.

Glide-Ride
BDS Suspension is pleased to give you the ride of your life. The Glide-Ride system was designed with the customer in mind.

Leaf spring suspensions have been around for years, but the new Glide-Ride line of leaf springs brings new excitement into an old market. We went back to the drawing board, not to reinvent the wheel, but rather to improve upon existing systems. We taken the best riding systems and made them even better.

Our springs are more than a collection of spring steel, but rather an engineered system of leafs. The specific leafs are designed to work together to create the ride of your life. Our goal is to give you a leaf spring suspension system like no other.

Shotpeening
All of our leaf spring material goes through a shotpeening process that is used to increase the tensile strength, increase fatigue life, thus reducing the material thickness required. What does all this mean? The thinner material gives you increase wheel travel and a softer ride. The increased fatigue life insures that the spring will maintain its height year after year.

Tapering
Most of our leaf spring systems include tapered end leaves. This type of end allows for a smoother transition between leaves as compression takes place. The forces are slowly distributed rather than feeling the sudden impact of the third or fourth leaf during compression. The tapered ends also reduce friction between the leaves. What does all this mean? Tapered leaves create a softer ride with increased travel.

Anti-Friction
Anti-Friction pads are used between the leaves in order to reduce the friction within the spring. This helps create a smooth quiet ride.

Bolt & Clinch Clamps
Both the bolt and cinch clamp methods are used in the Glide-Ride family. These different clip types are used to hold the longer leaves together. The clamp style is chosen to work best with the particular leaf spring design. No matter which clamp style is used, a minimum of 1/8" is left between the top of the spring pack and the clamp to ensure that no binding can occur.

Pre-Setting
Each spring goes through a pre-setting process. By stressing the springs well beyond what they would go through on a vehicle, the spring experiences permanent set. What does all this mean? The spring is basically pre-sagged in order to reduce sagging over time. What you see is what you get.
